3. Service Requests

Submitting a service request through our website, telephone, email, text message, or other communication method does not necessarily guarantee that Mina Services LLC will accept or perform the requested service.

We may need additional information before confirming a service appointment.

A service request may be subject to:

  • Availability

  • Service area

  • Technician availability

  • Parts or material availability

  • Property access

  • Safety considerations

  • Scope of work

  • Customer approval

  • Pricing or estimate approval

We reserve the right to decline a service request when reasonably necessary.

4. Appointments

Appointments are scheduled based on availability.

Appointment times may be provided as a specific time or as an estimated arrival window.

Although we make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled time window, delays may occur due to:

  • Traffic

  • Weather

  • Emergency service calls

  • Previous service appointments

  • Parts or material delays

  • Unexpected service conditions

  • Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

If we need to reschedule an appointment, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer.

5. Customer Access to Property

Customers are responsible for providing reasonable and safe access to the property, equipment, appliance, or area where services are to be performed.

The customer should ensure that:

  • The service area is reasonably accessible

  • Necessary keys, codes, or access instructions are provided

  • Pets are properly secured when necessary

  • Personal belongings are moved from the immediate work area when appropriate

  • The technician can safely perform the requested work

If our technician cannot reasonably access the service location or determines that conditions are unsafe, the appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Additional charges may apply when permitted by law and when additional time or services are required due to access issues or conditions outside the agreed scope of work.

6. Estimates and Pricing

When appropriate, Mina Services LLC may provide an estimate before performing work.

An estimate is an approximation of expected charges based on the information available at the time it is provided.

Actual charges may vary when:

  • Additional problems are discovered

  • Additional labor is required

  • Additional parts or materials are necessary

  • The customer requests additional work

  • Existing conditions differ from the information originally provided

  • The scope of work changes

When reasonably practical, we will communicate significant changes in the expected cost before performing additional work.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, estimates are not guaranteed final prices.

7. Additional Work

If additional work is discovered to be necessary after a service has begun, Mina Services LLC may notify the customer and request approval before proceeding.

Additional work may result in additional labor, parts, materials, or other charges.

If the customer declines necessary additional work, Mina Services LLC may be unable to complete the originally requested service or may only be able to provide a temporary or limited solution.

8. Parts and Materials

Services may require replacement parts, materials, equipment, or components.

Parts may be:

  • New

  • Manufacturer-approved

  • Aftermarket

  • Equivalent replacement parts

  • Customer-supplied parts, when accepted by Mina Services LLC

Availability of specific parts may affect scheduling and completion times.

If a customer supplies a part or material, Mina Services LLC may not be responsible for defects, incompatibility, improper specifications, or failure of that customer-supplied item.

9. Customer-Supplied Equipment or Materials

If a customer provides equipment, appliances, parts, materials, or other items for installation or repair, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the item is appropriate for the intended use.

Mina Services LLC may decline to install or use a customer-supplied item if we reasonably determine that it is unsafe, incompatible, defective, damaged, or otherwise unsuitable.

10. Payments

Customers are responsible for paying all charges associated with services that have been authorized or performed.

Depending on the service, payment may be accepted through methods made available by Mina Services LLC, including:

  • Credit or debit card

  • Electronic payment

  • Check

  • Cash

  • Other payment methods approved by Mina Services LLC

Payment terms may vary depending on the service, customer, project, or agreement.

Invoices are due according to the payment terms stated on the invoice or service agreement.

11. Late or Unpaid Balances

If an invoice is not paid when due, Mina Services LLC may take reasonable steps to collect the unpaid balance.

Where permitted by law, this may include:

  • Contacting the customer regarding the outstanding balance

  • Suspending additional services

  • Applying permitted fees or charges

  • Referring the account for collection

  • Pursuing other lawful remedies

Any collection costs, fees, or interest will only be charged when permitted by applicable law and applicable agreement.

12. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers should provide reasonable notice when they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Depending on the circumstances, repeated cancellations, last-minute cancellations, or missed appointments may result in a cancellation or service-call fee when permitted by law and disclosed to the customer.

Any cancellation policy applicable to a specific service or appointment may be communicated separately before the service is scheduled.

13. No-Show Appointments

If a customer is unavailable when our technician arrives or cannot provide reasonable access to the service location, the appointment may be considered a missed appointment.

Mina Services LLC may charge a service, trip, or cancellation fee when applicable and when the customer was informed of the fee or it is otherwise permitted by law.

14. Service Completion

A service is considered completed when the agreed scope of work has been reasonably performed.

Where appropriate, the customer may be asked to inspect or acknowledge the completed work.

Customers should notify Mina Services LLC promptly if they believe that the completed service does not meet the agreed scope of work.

15. Service Limitations

Mina Services LLC will make reasonable efforts to perform services professionally and in accordance with the agreed scope of work.

However, certain repairs or maintenance services may involve existing conditions, concealed damage, aging equipment, defective components, or conditions that cannot reasonably be identified before work begins.

We are not responsible for conditions that:

  • Were not reasonably discoverable before work began

  • Were concealed or inaccessible

  • Were caused by pre-existing conditions

  • Result from normal wear and tear

  • Result from misuse or improper operation

  • Result from work performed by another person or company

  • Are outside the agreed scope of work

16. Existing Conditions

The customer understands that repairs and maintenance may reveal additional problems that were not visible or known when the service was scheduled.

Examples may include:

  • Hidden leaks

  • Corrosion

  • Damaged wiring

  • Deteriorated components

  • Structural issues

  • Previous improper repairs

  • Water damage

  • Mold or other environmental conditions

  • Defective or unsafe equipment

  • Code-related issues

  • Other concealed conditions

Additional work may be necessary to address such conditions.

17. Safety

Mina Services LLC prioritizes the safety of customers, employees, contractors, and others.

We may stop, postpone, or decline work if we reasonably determine that the requested service presents an unsafe condition.

Examples may include:

  • Unsafe electrical conditions

  • Gas-related hazards

  • Structural instability

  • Hazardous materials

  • Dangerous working conditions

  • Severe water damage

  • Fire hazards

  • Other conditions that may present an unreasonable safety risk

When appropriate, customers may be advised to contact a qualified specialist, utility provider, emergency service, or other appropriate professional.

18. Permits and Code Requirements

Certain work may require permits, inspections, licenses, or compliance with applicable building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire, or other codes.

Responsibility for obtaining permits or approvals may depend on the type of work and applicable law.

Where applicable, Mina Services LLC will communicate known permit or approval requirements and may decline work that cannot lawfully be performed.

19. Warranties

Any warranty provided by Mina Services LLC will be limited to the specific warranty terms communicated to the customer for the applicable service.

Manufacturer warranties for parts, appliances, equipment, or materials may be separate from any warranty provided by Mina Services LLC.

Unless expressly stated in writing, no additional warranty is created by these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

20. Warranty Exclusions

To the extent permitted by law, warranty coverage may not apply to problems caused by:

  • Misuse

  • Abuse

  • Neglect

  • Improper operation

  • Unauthorized modifications

  • Customer-supplied defective materials

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by another person or contractor

  • Failure to maintain equipment

  • Conditions unrelated to the original service

  • Acts of nature or other circumstances outside our reasonable control

Customers should contact Mina Services LLC promptly if they believe a service-related warranty issue has occurred.

21. Third-Party Products and Manufacturers

Mina Services LLC may install, repair, deliver, or work with products manufactured by third parties.

Mina Services LLC is not the manufacturer of those products unless expressly stated otherwise.

Manufacturer warranties, recalls, specifications, limitations, and terms may apply independently.

Customers may need to contact the manufacturer directly for certain warranty claims.

If delivery or installation cannot safely be completed because of conditions at the property, additional charges or rescheduling may apply when permitted by law and applicable agreement.
